Special Session on Omicron Variant

Overview

David Dowdy, Associate Professor of Epidemiology, International Health, and Medicine at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Josh Sharfstein, Vice Dean for Public Health Practice and Community Engagement and Professor of the Practice, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, discussed the Omicron variant and provided recommendations for mayors and city leaders on handling the Omicron surge, as well as supporting information on the science behind this variant. Jorrit de Jong, Emma Bloomberg Senior Lecturer in Public Policy and Management and Director of the Bloomberg Center for Cities moderated the Session‍.
