About
Jamie Lee is a communication and information policy expert with over a decade of professional experience working on human rights, access to information, freedom of expression, and participatory policymaking.
Working across intergovernmental organizations, nonprofits, and academia, she has led initiatives on community media, civic engagement, access to information, freedom of press, protection of journalists, and participatory policy- and law-making at national and international levels. Recently at the United Nations, she led a participatory law-making initiative to create a new law on access to Information in Asia. She has also created a network of scholars and civil society leaders who are working on issues related to technology, social inequality, and human rights. At the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society, she contributed to research on the digital transformation strategy for Ukraine. Jamie holds a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.
