As an editor for the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative, Franc works closely with the curriculum development team and faculty on projects for publication and use in Harvard executive education and graduate degree programs. Prior to this role, Franc worked at Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation, where she edited cases and facilitated translations.
As a long-time freelance editor, Franc focused on curricula for small businesses and nonprofits, including MIT’s Consensus Building Institute and Farm Aid. Franc’s city work began as communications manager and editor for John T. O’Connor, community organizer, author, and congressional candidate. She also managed O’Connor’s Boston Youth Mentoring Program and orchestrated the installation of the Cambridge Common’s Irish Famine Memorial.
Franc received a Bachelor of Arts in theater with a minor in fine art from Emerson College. She is a mom, musician, illustrator, music teacher, and amateur mason.
