Abbie James

Abbie is a program director for executive education and supports the work of the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative, which includes the delivery of programs for mayors, their senior leaders and other city staff. Abbie previously worked at the Institute of Politics at Harvard Kennedy School where she oversaw multiple co-curricular student programs focused on public service and civic engagement. She supported and mentored student leaders in their leadership development and worked with them to set priorities and execute plans for their individual programs. Prior to Harvard, Abbie worked for United States Senator Jeanne Shaheen.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Anselm College and a master’s degree in education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
